I have a keen sense of knowing what my students need to work on and my approach is varied as everyone learns differently. My lessons are positive and dynamic. I also draw on 35 years of driving experience. My students are wonderful people and I believe that driving can be both enjoyable and safe.

Prior to joining the Breens team I was a license tester at VicRoads: Seaford, Heatherton, Dromana and Pakenham. I know what it is they are looking for. My career began in heavy engineering as a tradesman, but in 1990 I decided I wanted a change of pace, which led me to become a driving instructor, starting with manual vehicles and now specialising in automatic driving and parking skills. At the time, I never imagined I’d still be here 36 years later, but I continue to enjoy every moment. My students truly keep me young. Over the years, I’ve helped thousands of people gain not only their licence, but also the confidence to drive safely on the roads. Just as importantly, I’ve learnt a great deal from my students, which allows me to tailor each lesson to suit the individual needs of every learner. There’s nothing more rewarding than sharing in the excitement of someone achieving their licence and independence. And when things don’t go to plan, I’m there to provide support and guidance every step of the way. I bring all my experience and knowledge to each lesson to help my clients achieve the best possible outcome. P.S. One day, when I finally hang up my keys, I’m thinking of writing a book, The Confessions of a Driving Instructor. With so many amazing stories and funny moments, it should make a great read.
